Vidya Balan (articulated [ʋɪd̪jaː baːlən]; conceived 1 January 1979) is an Indian performing artist. She has built up a profession in Hindi movies and is the beneficiary of a few honors, including a National Film Award, six Filmfare Awards, and six Screen Awards. She was granted the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2014. Vidya is known for depicting solid heroes and has been recognized in the media for spearheading an adjustment in the idea of a Hindi film champion.
